From an evening event at SCI's Blank IMAX Dome Theater to a workshop for kids or special event weekend, the Science Center of Iowa offers a variety of camps, classes, and special events to suit your interests and schedule. While some programs are offered on a regular basis, others may happen less frequently. Summer/Winter/Spring Camps- Expect lots of science and lots of fun from SCI's camp programs!

Birthday Parties- More than just a fantastic location to celebrate a special day with family and friends, SCI offers your birthday star and special guests a fun, unique, and memorable experience.

Pint Size Science- Preschoolers and their parents are invited to discover the wonders of science in monthly classes especially designed for children ages 3 to 5.

Weekend Special Events- From Space Shuttle launches to the Science of Sports, these are events you won’t want to miss!

Overnight Adventures- Spend the night among the exhibits at the Science Center of Iowa during an Overnight Adventure, offering fun and interesting activities perfect for groups and families.

SCI Family Fun Nights- A Fun Night at the Science Center is the perfect way for your PTA, corporation, family reunion or group to enjoy a fun, entertaining, and educational get-together unlike any other.

Homeschool Days of Wonder- Hands-on science for homeschool children, Days of Wonder is an exciting program for homeschool students ages 7 to 12.

Annual August Fundraising Event- An exciting auction, live music, and cocktails and delicious food help make this end-of-summer event in support of SCI the one not to miss.

Dinner at the Dome- Pair a dinner of delicious cuisine and cocktails with a film in SCI's Blank IMAX Dome Theater in this monthly feast for your eyes, ears, and palate.
