In addition to the experience platforms and theaters, the Science Center of Iowa maintains its commitment to lifelong learning through the Iowa Learning Center.  This facility wing is the framework that supports SCI’s link to formal education and includes the renowned SCI Preschool, a public Resource Center, Cyber Labs for extended interactive experimentation, and a commons area for school and group orientations and briefings.  Distance learning and outreach programs that reach across the state and beyond will also originate from the Iowa Learning Center as will SCI camps, classes, and workshops.
