| Responsibilities: |
- Projection System: Responsible for the operation of the IMAX projection equipment including:
a. loading and unloading film into the projector
b. loading and unloading sound track into audio reproducer (analog and digital)
c. consistently monitoring quality of projected image
d. constantly monitoring quality of sound reproduction
e. cleaning and general maintenance of projection and sound system
- Projection Booth Maintenance: General housekeeping, cleanliness of projection, mechanical and storage rooms
- Quality Control: Ensure that all films prints and soundtracks are maintained in the best possible manner. Store unused film prints and sound tracks according to IMAX Technical Services specifications to prevent damage or decrease in life of prints
- Cueing: Develop and implement the timing and cueing between the projection room and the Participant Service Team to ensure continuity and maximize the showmanship aspects of a theater presentation
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist IMAX service personnel with the quarterly service routines and after IMAX approved training and authorization, handle services problems

| Requirements: |
- Prefer Certified IMAX projectionist
- Bachelors degree or relevant experience
- Previous IMAX technical experience is preferred but not necessary. Other technical areas that apply are: electrical/ electronics, 16mm/ 35 mm film projection, HVAC, computers and/ or information technology, audio engineering
- Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. and carry weight a minimum of 15 feet
- Ability to climb stairs in Theater and catwalks behind screen, ability to work at heights
- Computer literate
- Candidate must have standard (with correction) eyesight
