| Responsibilities: |
• Will assist with training of gift shop team • Maintain a commitment to excellent customer service in gift shop and all areas of SCI • Operate as “first line of defense” for all participant service related issues • Oversee procedures to handle money, reconcile cash register activity and P.O.S. systems • Responsible for access to safe and securing daily revenues. Oversee other participant service related functions. • Will assist with purchasing for and merchandising of gift shop, as directed by the Director of Participant Services

| Requirements: |
• Must have retail, sales, or strong customer service background • Previous management experience recommended • Pleasant, outgoing personality • The ability to work well with the public • Problem solver • Accurate and efficient bookkeeping/ money handling skills • Well groomed, clean, and presentable • Ability to multi-task very helpful • Ability to lift 35 lbs. (negotiable) • Must uphold the values and integrity of the Science Center of Iowa
