| Scope: |
Manage a plan to contact schools and groups to achieve sales goals. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Work in conjunction with Communications & Development team and other departments to communicate a strong and consistent message
- Inform communications to schools and groups
- Work in conjunction with the Education staff to support the formal education initiatives including but not limited to School visits, Outreach and Teacher Training
- Work in conjunction with the Participant Services team to manage the sales and booking process
- Create working lists of targeted schools and groups with the intent of booking business for the Science Center of Iowa & Blank IMAX Dome Theater

| Requirements: |
• College Degree preferred or experience in related field • Sales and customer service background required • Experience with database management, Microsoft Word, Excel experience required • Must be well organized, an excellent communicator, and well-developed interpersonal skills • Must uphold the values and integrity of the Science Center of Iowa

| Working Hours: |
Primarily business hours Monday - Friday. Flexibility in scheduling is required as some nights and weekends will be expected.
