Ever wonder what happens at SCI after hours? Join us for an Overnight Adventure and you can find out what it’s like to sleep among the exhibits! Overnight Adventures are a great way to spend a unique evening exploring hands-on activities at SCI.

Types of Overnight Adventures

All Boys/Boy Scouts – Open to all Boy Scouts, as well as individuals and small groups of boys and their chaperones.

All Girls – Open to individuals and small groups of girls and their chaperones.

Girl Scouts – Open to all Girl Scouts and their chaperones. Private events are available - call for more information!

Family and Small Groups – Co-ed and open to the public.

Private Overnight – If you have a group of 100 people or more, you can schedule an exclusive overnight for just your group! Please call for more details.

To help you plan an Overnight Adventure for your group, please keep the following in mind:

Each Overnight Adventure begins Friday night at 6:30 pm (dinner not included) and concludes at 8:30 am the following morning with a continental breakfast.

Adventures are appropriate for children ages 6 to 14 and their adult chaperones (a minimum of one adult is required for every five children.)

Cost for a traditional-length IMAX film is $35/child and $20/adult. Cost for a feature length IMAX film is $38/child and $23/adult.

A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to reserve a space for organized groups.

Please register at least 2 weeks in advance for one of the Overnight Adventures listed above. If you are looking at scheduling an additional date or a private overnight, SCI requires 4-6 weeks advance registration. Please call 515-274-6868 ext. 234 for registration or more information today!
