  • Tough Talk on the Data of Race
  • 7:00 PMFounders Hall
  • Forum discussion: 7:00-9:00 pm
Exhibit open for discounted rate: 6:00-7:00 pm

Join us for a quality discussion on the data of race as we tackle issues that are addressed both in the RACE exhibit and in this new series of public forums. Hear from an expert from the Pew Research Center in Washington, D.C. (Jens Manuel Krogstad Ortiz) and other partners. Come ready to dive into some of the latest racial data and for open, honest conversation with your fellow Iowans.

The free forum begins at 7:00 pm, and the RACE: Are We So Different? exhibit will be open and available to view for a special discounted rate ($9) prior to the forum. Please allow at least an hour. Heavy hors d'oeuvres also will be served between 6:00 and 7:00 pm.

This event is a collaboration between The Des Moines Register and Drake University.
