  • Yoga Under the Stars is a four-week yoga series offered monthly in the Science Center of Iowa's Star Theater planetarium. Classes are held on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 pm. Pre-registration is REQUIRED.

    Single class cost: $10 ($8 for SCI Members)
    Monthly series cost: $35 ($30 for SCI Members)

    To register for a single class, click here, find the class date on the calendar and select "Adult Yoga Classes." Monthly registration is available by phone at 515-274-6868 ext. 322.

Join Hannah Wakeford, a planetary scientist and Giacconi Fellow at the Space Telescope Science Institute, as she discusses our nearest neighbors in the solar system: Mars and Venus. By exploring our closest terrestrial worlds, we can understand what makes a planet habitable.
