Thank you for registering for an SCI summer camp! Please read through the details below for the information you'll need for a successful camp experience.
Pick Up / Drop Off
Please pick up and drop off your child directly from his or her camp classroom. For classrooms, camp office and extended care, enter through SCI's main doors and continue through the glass doors on your right. See map.
Extended Care
If your camper needs to arrive early or stay late, extended care is available from 7:30 – 9:00 am and 4:00 – 5:30 pm for $8 per session (am or pm) per day. Limited curriculum will be available for students who choose to participate. Pay in full with your camp registration or daily as needed. If campers are not picked up by 5:30 pm, a $10 fee is assessed for every 15 minutes that each camper remains.
Lunch + Recess
Only full-day campers may purchase a week of lunches from SCI in advance for $25 ($20 for the week of July 2). Regular or vegetarian menu options are available, and all meals include veggies, fruit, dessert and milk. Campers may bring sack lunches, but refrigeration will not be provided. Lunch and recess from 12:00 – 1:00 pm will be outside on SCI's campus or inside the building, depending on weather. SCI provides a light snack for all campers.

Keeping You Informed
We want to make sure you know about all the exciting things your kids will be doing during camp!
Before Camp:
You will receive camp details via email one week before your session begins. Camps may include field trips relevant to the camp subject as well as exploration of SCI exhibits during camp or recess. If you prefer that your child not participate in these activities, he or she will join another camp during that time. This information will also be posted at camp.
During Camp:
Each day of camp, watch for a note sent home with your child entitled "Ask me about..." We hope these can start family conversations about what your child is learning.
Open House:
Please join us during the last 30 minutes of Friday's camps (both AM and PM) for an open house. Join us as we show off all of the interesting things we've done during the week!
Attire/Clothing
Please send your camper in carefree, comfortable clothing and footwear that is appropriate for play and for various weather conditions. With your registration, you may also purchase a t-shirt for only $8 that your child can wear to camp!

Good Behavior
Good behavior is a key component to each camp's success. Any camper hindering the overall experience will be removed and parents will be contacted. If a camper is unable to honor the resolution agreed upon by SCI and the parents, he or she will be dismissed and a refund will not be granted.
