Static Magic
Grades Pre-K & Kindergarten
Discover and explore the things that "spark" around you. This Discovery Lab on static electricity will get kids creating sparks when they think about science. Engage your students in electrifying experiments with static and investigate what it is and how it works! Reinforces National Science Standards: Science as Inquiry and Physical Science.
Chemistry Creations
Grades K – 6
Explore the exciting world of chemistry as SCI mixes up some creative concoctions. You won’t want to miss these ooey-gooey experiments and amazing demonstrations that will make your mind "explode!" Reinforces National Science Standards: Science as Inquiry and Physical Science.
Our Changing Earth
Grades K – 6
Become an amateur geologist! Explore everyday uses for rocks and minerals and uncover the processes that shape our ever-changing world. Work with a team to build a model structure, then see if it survives the earthquake table! Reinforces National Science Standards: Science as Inquiry and Physical Science
The Machine Scene
Grades K – 2
Machines make work easier, and work can be fun! Explore the world of machines as toys in this educational and entertaining lab. Use teamwork, creativity and imagination to design and build a machine-based toy vehicle. Reinforces National Science Standards: Science as Inquiry, Physical Science, Science and Technology, Science in Personal and Social Perspectives
The Machine Scene

Dive into the world of simple machines in this dynamic lab. Discover the six basic types that have stood the test of time. Work as a team to build contraptions, solve challenges and identify the simple machines used in a multi-level computer game. Reinforces National Science Standards: Science as Inquiry, Physical Science, Science and Technology, Science in Personal and Social Perspectives
Crime Scene Science
Grades 6 – 12
A burglary has been committed, and SCI is putting your class on the case! Investigate six suspects and six types of simulated evidence to solve the crime. Work with a team of student investigators to complete an evidence report and present results. Reinforces National Science Standards: Science as Inquiry, Physical Science, Life Science, Science and Technology, Science in Personal and Social Perspectives, History and Nature of Science
