Sensory Friendly Science
Families with children on the autism spectrum or children with sensory processing disorders will enjoy exploring the Science Center of Iowa with the help of Sensory Guide signage, which indicates audio, visual and activity stimuli.

All SCI tickets can be used between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the designated date listed on your ticket. Advanced tickets are advised as daily capacity limits are set to monitor days when the building capacity is reached. Advanced tickets can be rescheduled but are not refundable.
Members are FREE but should still reserve tickets in advance if possible.
Library Adventure Pass participants do not need to reserve advance tickets on the SCI website. Please bring your Adventure Pass and check in at the Box Office on the day of your reservation.
ASTC reciprocal visitors do not need to reserve advance tickets on the SCI website. Please bring your photo ID and proof of current membership with an ASTC organization and check in at the Box Office on the day of your visit.
