     Discovery Days will feature:

    • $5 Documentary IMAX films
    • Family Workshops, Saturday at 11:00 am and Sunday at 1:00 pm
    • New live programs

  • Pint Sized Science: Rainforest Romp

  • Discover the wonders of science in monthly classes designed specifically for young explorers ages 3 to 5 and their families! This interactive classroom experience allows young explorers to discover the world around them through fun, hands on activities they can share with a parent or caregiver.

    December 4, 17 & 21 - Rainforest Romp - Discover one of the world's biggest and most incredible mysteries as we uncover life in the rainforest! Where are rainforests located? What animals live there? Find out all about this amazing ecosystem, the animals that live there and the amazing explorers who help us to understand it better.

    The polar eco-zones are among the most inhospitable on Earth due to their extreme cold temperatures. How do Earth explorers manage to survive extended stays in such an environment? In this workshop, you'll find the answers as you build your own igloo and sample some of the nutrient-rich native foods that make survival in this extreme climate possible.
