  • Monday July 10, 2017

The Science Center of Iowa (SCI) will receive a $2,500 grant from the Monsanto Fund’s 2017 site grant initiative to support statewide outreach programming, called Science @ Your Site.

The Science Center of Iowa’s Science @ Your Site outreach program brings live science programming to classrooms and assemblies across Iowa, serving more than 20,000 students annually.

“Our outreach program allows schools that are working on limited budgets to experience the excitement of SCI from their very own classroom,” said Curt Simmons, SCI President and CEO. “Local support from groups like the Monsanto Fund help us continue to improve our offerings and make these experiences more accessible to schools.”
