Digital SCI Membership Card FAQs
How do I add my digital SCI membership card to my phone?
Your digital SCI membership card will be emailed to you. Access the email from your mobile device and click the “download membership card” button.
For iPhone users: Click the “Add to Apple Wallet” button. Your card will be added to your virtual wallet.
For Android users: Click the "Add to Google Wallet" button. Your card will be added to your virtual wallet. If you do not have Google Wallet on your phone, download Google Wallet from the Google Play Store. You can also use another virtual wallet application of your choice if it is compatible.
I didn’t receive an email to download my digital SCI membership card. What do I do?

My name is spelled incorrectly. How do I change it?

I’d like to get a physical SCI membership card. What should I do?
There is a $5 materials fee to get a physical SCI membership card. To get one, please email membership@sciowa.org or call 515-274-6868 ext. 4.
How can another person on the membership download the card?
Using the mobile device of the other person, access the email that you were sent with the installation of the card. Click on the "download membership card" button. Select the correct member's name that you are needing to download for. The name selected will be the only name that is shown on the card.
Alternatively, go to our membership portal and follow instructions there to download another card.
I’m a TRI or combo member. Can I use my digital SCI membership card at the Blank Park Zoo or Living History Farms?
Your digital SCI membership card is not recognized at the Blank Park Zoo or Living History Farms. It only contains your SCI membership information. If you are a TRI or combo member, you will receive a digital membership card from each organization.
Can I use my digital SCI membership card at other science centers?
Yes, your digital SCI membership card can be used for reciprocity at more than 300 other ASTC organizations. See where you can receive free or discounted admission at www.ASTC.org/passport
I downloaded my card but can’t find it. Where is it?
For iPhone users: Your digital SCI membership card will be in your Apple Wallet.
For Android users: Your digital SCI membership card will be in your Google Wallet or the other virtual wallet application that you downloaded it to. Make sure you have Wallet Passes downloaded before adding your digital SCI membership card to it.
I renewed my membership. Do I get an email with my new card?
If you have not made any changes to your email address or the adult names listed on the membership, you will not receive an email. Instead, your digital SCI membership card will automatically be updated within about one to two weeks. To update the expiration date, open your digital SCI membership card, then swipe down to refresh. You should see your new expiration date once the card refreshes.
