Each week brings a new theme packed with discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun!

October 16: Getting Dirty! - Grab a magnifying glass and investigate what’s hiding in the soil beneath our feet.

Workshops are held for children, ages 3–5 years old with a caring adult, from 9:15–10:15 AM on Thursdays in October.

October 16: Getting Dirty! - Grab a magnifying glass and investigate what’s hiding in the soil beneath our feet.

Workshops are held for students, ages 5-14 years old (Kindergarten - 8th grade), from 11:00 AM-Noon on Thursdays in October. Registration includes two concurrent workshops, one for youth and one for their parents/caregivers, exploring the day's theme.

Have you ever wondered what Snippy the Snapping Turtle eats? Come check out a feeding demonstration of one of SCI’s most ravenous reptiles! The snapping turtle feeding may be too intense for some visitors.
